Adding a slider on the main part of the blog

I am wanting to set up a slider on the main part of the blog – not as a sidebar tool. I am wondering how you would add that in a CSS feed or a plug-in suggestion. The layout I am looking for is similar to blog.bergdorfgoodman.com
