• Hi everybody, I’m at my first post. I’ve been playing around with WordPress.com for a week now and I’d like to know how can I post a skp file on my blog. Is there a plugin for that?

    Thanks a lot.

  • Everything I have come across in relationship to downloading .skp files, is usually accompanied by a .jpg screen-shot of the sketchup rendering, and a download link to the actual .skp file. Here is an example of someone on wordpress.com doing exactly that.

There is also a plugin for sketchup itself, that allows you to “export to web”.

“The Google SketchUp Web Exporter (Beta) allows you to enable a simple interactive view of your model for any web page without a browser plugin”

I have never used it, and have no idea if it works, but perhaps that might be another option.
