Adding a single post to a page

I am a complete novice and have not learned to code, though I do understand some of the principles.

I have created a page with a series of links to posts on it successfully but it looks a bit dull, just being text. What I would like to do is to replace the first link with the actual post it refers to. In other words, a visitor to the page would see the post at the top and then following posts would still be accessed by clicking on the hypertext links below it.

I need to know what code to use to achieve that, hopefully with just the post id for me to change (which in this case is 135).

I would like to keep it as simple as possible so that I have some chance of understanding it!
