Adding a Second (or Third) Type of Push Pin to Map

  • LOVE the plugin. I used it to create a map with placemarks for every Chinese restaurant that we have reviewed. An example can be seen at https://www.thechinesequest.com/2016/11/poll-finding-good-chinese-restaurant/

    What I can’t figure out how to do is to more placemarks to the map, and have them displayed in a different color. These would be used to placemark other Chinese restaurants I have written about on my blog, but that we haven’t formally reviewed.

    1) How do I do that?

    I would also like to give the user to filter which placemarks are displayed. For example, the default would be all, (the formally reviewed restaurants and the non-reviewed restaurants). I would use the use to check off if they only want to see formally reviewed restaurants.

    2) Can that be done?

    I figured out how to have different placemark icons.

    But, would love to be able to set a filter for the user to choose which categories to display on the map.
