Adding a page to a basic theme??

  • I’m wondering how i can use a theme and then add a page that is not part of the theme as the index page.

    I need to make an index page that has my company logo on it. You can click on my logo to enter the site.

    On the other side of the page I want the logo of another company to click to go the their site.

    How do i do this??

  • Hey Jake,

    You just need to make a new page template. You can make new page templates look however you’d like. Once you make a new page template and add it to your theme, you can just select it from the drop down menu on the right hand sidebar when you are adding a page.
