Adding a page template

    I need a template like the Blog template but without posts etc. The idea would be to have some widgets to this section, is this possible?

    Not certain if I explained myself above. In the “Page Attributes” section there is a “Template” area. I would like to have additional default templates to select from. IE. default1 ,default2, etc. Then I can have a widget specific to that template.
    Help appreciated.

    You need to write your own code for this, best by using a child theme probably.
