Adding a new user as admin

  • I am trying to connect to another web site to add a post from my wordpress site.

    I have set up a new user as admin with a new user name and password.

    Next went in to the setting/writer and enabled Atom Publishing Protocol and XML-RPC.

    I added Mail Server domain https://www.mywebsite.co.uk/blog and also tried without www and left the port as default 110

    Set up a Login name and password as set in my wp-config.php file.

    Then went to the third party web site enterd the details and it wont log in to wordpress with a message: Didn’t receive 200 OK from remote server. (HTTP/1.1 403 Forbidden)

    If there is something I’m missing please help?
