I already have a submission form, which was made by another plugin. But I want to add one more field to that submission form; a price box.

Ideally my users will be able to submit a link, fill in the rest of the boxes, and then at the end be able to add a price.

Then I want the price to be displayed wherever I want to put it.

Can Metabox achieve that? I don’t want to make a whole new submission form, because then I’ll lose the power of the URL fetcher of the other plugin I’m using.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi,

Yes, you can do that with Meta Box and the extension MB Frontend Submission. This extension allows you to create almost any type of submission form in the frontend. You can also add or edit fields easily just like working with post form in the admin area.

Will this work in conjunction with an existing form?

So when ‘submit’ is pressed on the existing form, this will add my new meta to the post?

Unfortunately, it doesn’t work with existing form or other plugin. This extension is made for replacement of all frontend submission form. So, it can satisfy your need without the existing plugin.
