Adding a message to Woocommerce cart page if total exceeds specified amount?

  • I want to have a notification come up on the cart page that will display only when the order total exceeds $40.00. This notification will consist of text and a link that will add another product to the cart. We want this additional product to only become available for purchase after an order total exceeds $40.00.

    Can anyone give advice on how to go about this?
