Adding a membership area with tests?

I’m currently using the theme Infoway from ink themes.k What I’m trying to do is have a separate section of my website that is strictly for members. It needs to be able to allow users to take tests and it’s going to have a training course.

What can I use to make this happen? Whether it’s a plugin, child theme or whatever, I’d like to know how to do this.
