Adding a large slideshow to first page

  • I have looked at several widgets to set up a rotating, fading slideshow that will be used in the body of a static home page but haven’t been able to get it to work.

    I need a full width slideshow that looks like a flash slideshow with only the header, menu and footer surrounding it.

    Is this best to do with a plugin or should I try embedding Flash? And how do I get this to appear ONLY on the home page?
