Adding a input field only for some Variations

    Hi,
    I need to have the option for an input field to enter a text to customize items on the shop (i.e. add your Name).

    I’d like that the input field is displayed only if the “customized” option is picked, but an always displayed filed would be fine, too.

    I’ve found this plugin: https://pluginrepublic.com/wordpress-plugins/woocommerce-product-add-ons-ultimate/
    But it seems it is a kinda of subscription (i.e. yearly payment). I think this will be a big NO from my client. A one-off payment would be preferable.

    Any suggestion would be appreciated.

    The plugins required are indeed called Product Addons and the pricing will usually vary from one provider to the next. From an official perspective, here are the following options:

    The reason most are subscription-based is that your client will be paying for updates & support: I’m sure your client would appreciate a functioning plugins in a few year’s time – with a subscription, it makes it viable for the company to keep updating the plugin (rather than just have a once-off fee having to cover a lifetime of updates).
