• Hey guys, I’ve been trying to embed a youtube video by using:

    [embedplusvideo height="480" width="640" standard="theyoutubeURL" vars="ytid=183w1ZaaglU&width=640&height=480&start=&stop=&rs=w&hd=0&autoplay=0&react=1&chapters=&notes=" id="ep4770" /]

I am in HTML view but as soon as I publish it…it immediately changes it to:

    [<<em>strong>embedplusvideo height="480" width="640" standard="myyoutubeURL" vars="ytid=183w1ZaaglU&width=640&height=480&start=&stop=&rs=w&hd=0&autoplay=0&react=1&chapters=&notes=" id="ep4770" /]

This is driving me bonkers, please help!

    Any suggestions?

Actually even I just put the youtube link like so:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=thevideo

It ends up changing it to:

    <strong>https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=183w1ZaaglU

My other wordpress sites work fine. I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong here.

    Shameless Bump.

I’ve also tried changing my theme to a default wordpress theme but no luck.

I’m almost getting ready to just delete it, reinstall wordpress and manually add the posts again.
