Adding a gallery/shortcode to all posts?

  • Is there anyway to add a short-code automatically to all posts? I have a plugin / widget that allows me to use any widget on any page using a short-code. But I’d also like to have a specific short-code automatically added to all posts.

  • I have the same question. I’m using Easy Social Icons (which is super) but I don’t want to add the shortcode [cn-social-icon] to each individual post. Thanks!

    I would like to do this also. I tried messing with adding it to now_reading/single.php but that doesn’t seem to do anything. I’m not sure if I put it in the wrong spot?

    I’m trying to move my dad over from FB, so I have to make posting super easy (log in, upload files, hit publish – no more work than posting to FB), but I don’t want to have to go in and manually edit every post he makes either. I’ve manually added [gallery] to some of the posts while trying to test things out.

    Though this won’t matter if I can’t figure out how to get the jetpack carousel images to link to the attachment page for the image.
