adding a citys field to search form

Hope you are well. My name is scott I own https://www.adszoom.com. I created a custom child theme from the 2011 ( latest version ) ?for this site. Its a classified site , I do study success and have bin studying the top classified sites. Both sites I have studied have it looks like directories I think??

My issue is I used gravity forms ( not the default wp posting process for the end client. ) for the sales funnel I put together and am not sure how to implement your code if I wanted to ad ” search by region ” ?Here is? my plan and thoughts.?

the user /??end client?experience:

they go to the home page?https://www.adszoom.com/

they “search” or “post” if “post” the first page they will come to is?https://www.adszoom.com/adszoom-international-home-page-classified-regions/#top?( page I wrote to force people to choose there region )?

then after they choose there region they will go to?https://www.adszoom.com/post-new-ad/ ( you may need a UN/password of ( scott12 pw/ AcKing5000 )?

thats the flow I need for the user. I’m sure if you post you will see why.

Now here is where i’m stuck!?

How do I create a search form that will not only get the categories but also the region. The user should only see the results based of these 2 values and of course ” im looking for ”?

Can you help me with this??

Ps. It has to be this way because if I leave the input up to the end user example: Florida becomes fl or FLA or F L OR FLORIDA and such so this is the only way to stop this.?
