Adding A Cart to the Header Menu

    I am trying to figure out how to show a Simple PayPal cart in the header menu which will display the number of items currently in the cart. Does anyone have the necessary code and how and where to put the code so a cart will show in the menu bar at the top of the page?

    I have a checkout/cart page and all works well there as far as displaying items in the cart, etc. I would like for users of my site to see the cart at the top of the page with a count reflecting the number of items in the cart… 0, 1, 2, etc.

    I am very new to WordPress so your help is greatly appreciated.

    Hi adding the cart to the header is more a theme implementation. It also depends on the theme you are currently using.

    Thanks for the response… I will have to check with the developer of the theme it seems.

    Is there a Paypal Shopping Cart shortcode I can use if and when I can determine where in the header of the theme to place it? Or, will that have to be developed by the author of the theme?

    or
    [show_wp_shopping_cart]

    Great… I will try those short codes if I can contact the theme developer so I know what file and where to insert the code.
