• I am a photographer and am in the process of moving my website from smugmug to wordpress. I am needing a way to add a buy option for individual photos inside a password protected client gallery. For example, a client gallery on my menu bar may contain 20 images. I would like to offer the client the option to purchase individual prints, be able to specify the size, quantity wanted, and pay through paypal. Is there a plugin that can do all of this?

  • You could try the major e-commerce plugins, WordPress E-Commerce, WooCommerce or Jigoshop but why not just use paypal buy now buttons? You can set them up to accept some parameters, check out this page: https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_pdn_xclick_options_help_outside

For starters I don’t know HTML. Not a clue.

I actually just found the WP store cart. I think it will let me upload multiple items (images) at once. The problem is just the sheer volume of product. 20-50 photos per client, 10+ size variables, and 2 paper finishes. If I were to enter a code line for each item and each variable that would be 1000 lines of code. Yikes!!

Now multiply that by however many clients I have at a given time.

Give paypal a shot, really, you just copy paste the code they give you.
