Greetings. We are thinking of adding BuddyTask capability to our community platform, which is built on BuddyBoss. Hoping that your BuddyPress plugin will be compatible. We’d like the functionality to be available for groups within the community. How do you add the boards (and shortcode) to specific groups, so that those board are accessible only to the members of those groups? Thank you.

    Hi @apandian,

and sorry for the late reply. We had apparently to subscribe to the plugin to take notifications for support requests.

When you create a new group you have to enable BuddyTask from its settings. After that, a new BuddyTask menu appears inside the group where the board for that group is located.

By default, the board is accessible only by the group members. In future versions you will be able to change that.

    Thanks

@cytechltd I dont want to open a new thread for my silly question perhaps. is your plugin only working in buddy press. I want to have a page for co authors of my blog (guteideenblog.org) where we can all see what is going – where everyone can add new ideas or we can see how things go for others. is that possible? I cant see a short corde to integrate it

    Hi,

you can just add the [buddytask] shortcode to any page or post.

But how do you add BuddyTask to an existing group ?

EDIT: Ok, got it! The option to activate is available in the BuddyTask tab of the group settings tab.
