Adding a block under excerpt

Hi all,

I have recently started to use Neve and I need to add a block (based on some calls to my functions.php in the child theme) just underneath the “excerpt” on the main page, where all the articles are displayed in a grid.

Following the source code I can see that these single preview of the articles are generated in the scripts:

inc/views/base_view.php
inc/views/partials/excerpt.php

but I cannot add or modify one of those from my child theme in order to add my custom php code.

How can I achieve that with Neve from a child theme?
