• Hi, I am currently creating my first WordPress site after outgrowing Weebly. I love the greater functionality, but it a bit like graduating from flying a glider to flying a jumbo jet! I am trying to create a block of text that will appear as a header to just one section of my site, albeit a large one, covering 39 of the site’s 51 pages. In other words, the header will not be applied site-wide, but it would be fairly laborious to copy and paste the text onto each individual page. Is there a way to achieve this? Is it theme dependent? The theme I am using is called Politics.

I hope I am posting this in the right place. Please feel free to move it if not.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • I can’t see the website. Since this is your first theme that you creating. It’s best to used an existing theme and break it down so you can understand how to create a theme.

The website is still under construction, that’s why you only get a “coming soon” page. But my question is a fairly general one: is it possible to create a block of header text for just one section of my site?
