I have been digging about trying to find how to do this but none of the edits I have made adding in the background: #ffffff; in the css files in this folder plugins/the-events-calendar/src/resources/css/ but to no avail.
A whit backdrop with a bit of opacity like the other pages on the site are what I am looking to achieve.

The plugin looks promising and if I can prove it works well enough for the client then they may be interested to buy the license for the pro version.

Any insight would be very helpful. I have dug around the forums and support on the plain site but can’t find a solution. It seems like a fairly basic element to want to change and it would be great if it was part of the customiser.

    many thanks

    Ok Problem solved!
After a bit more digging I discovered that the background to the content on the event calendar page was in fact controlled by the sites them and not the theme within the plugin.

    Lesson learned.
