Adding 2nd form to a page clears the page content

    Broken Page

    I have a form in the footer of every page that functions perfectly. When I try to insert a second contact form in the main body of the page, all the content of the page disappears except the sticky navigation.

    I’ve tried adding the working form in the page, and that also breaks the page so I know it’s not an error in my new form. Any thoughts?

  • I use multiple CF7 forms in various sections of WP page without any problems on many different websites and several different servers. Any issue you have is almost certainly due to something on your local WP install.

    Step by step approach to problem solving

    1. Switch temporarily to a WordPress default theme (Twenty Eleven etc.) and see if the problem goes away.

    If it does, you’ve most likely got a problem with your current WordPress theme.

    If switching to default theme doesn’t help it could be one of the plugins you are using that is causing the problem.

    2. Disable all plugins other than Contact Form 7

    If doing that solves the problem, you can then add back each item – one by one, until you find the cause of the problem.

    Thank you so much. I had a faulty custom code in my custom javascript file. Turning off the theme helped me identify it.
