Adding -2 to the URL

When duplicating, and then updating the title field, and then the URL, it ads a -2 to the url , even though I have not saved the new page with title yet. Not sure why it’s acting like this was saved with new URL already. This wasn’t happening before but it’s causing a lot of url issues.
