Adding 2 post preview sections to static homepage.

    I’m stuck. I’m using Platform Pro template and trying to show the latest post previews on the static homepage. The post previews would be coming from 2 different categories with different posts. I didn’t want the previews to show in the sidebar but in the main content area.

    Does anyone know how I could make this happen? I’m trying to get this request done for the client by the end of the month, tried a few plug ins but to no avail. HELP!!
