• I’m disgusted. I recently noticed that my site was loading slowly and was showing a bunch of sketchy-looking third-party scripts loading with URLs like

    dmp.adform.net
    rrc.rlcdn.com
    pool.admedo.com
    idsync.rlcdn.com
    sync.tidaltv.ct.htm
    rudy.adsnativt.htm

It took me several hours, but I determined that SMF added sharethis.com tracking through an update without any notification. It was also creating literally dozens of URL redirects which were significantly slowing down my site load time.

This is scammy and ridiculous. You don’t want to install this plugin or anything else from these developers! They can’t be trusted.

  • Great. WP should somehow notify people so that they know to remove the plugin. I have this installed on a bunch of sites, and now I have to go back and replace it with something else ??

    Hi @50m & @davidvogel,

Thanks for reaching out and leaving us feedback. We have collected the feedback and hear the concerns from our users. In the latest release we have added a toggle that allows you to turn on/off cookies within the plugin.

Feel free to update to the latest version to receive the ability! If you have any other questions please let us know.

    Thank you!
