added rss link and my sidebar disappeared!

  • Just loaded wordpress on my domain. Tried to add an rss ‘widget’ and it crashed my site. I can’t access my admin control panel and all the features on my sidebar disappeared.

    I logged into my hosting control panel to try and delete the file, but have no idea where to look for it. Please help. I’m a new user to wordpress and not advanced enough to save myself.

  • do u have phpmyadmin access? Try doing a search for the RSS feed u added and edit that to a different text … probably something not a qualified feed and see if that works.

    Where exactly would I find that folder?
