Added gallery shows hidden photo to friends

1) How can we show gallery to friends as I have selected freids in general mediapress settings but when I try to view the gallery as a friend it shows hidden images and not the gallery images while I can see the image from admin and the gallery creator.
2) How can I hide or show message as you need to be friends to see gallery for members who are not friends/connected?
