Added flashy AD on Admin dashboard without consent…

    Today, November 28th 2019, YOAST added a flashy ad on all my admin dashboard without any consent! It is close to impossible to close… I understand that they want to sell their product, no issue with that if you keep it in your YOAST section, not at the top of the main admin dashboard. Unacceptable!

    Thanks for your comment.

    We understand that the Black Friday banner was annoying. Although it was dismissable, it was a bit buggy so we listened to our community and yesterday we publicly apologized for any inconvenience this may have caused to our users (link to Twitter) and released Yoast SEO v12.6.2 which completely removes the banner from the admin panel.
