• I am trying to upload some files with this plugin. The files are uploading to the directory fine, but it is still showing “No files were found.” I tried to click the sync button and it found the files and said it was adding them to the database, but when it was done it still says no files were found. Can you help me fix this?

This could be a Javascript or a database issue. Two things can be done diagnose what is going on. You can go to the Media Library Folders Support page on your site, to the System Information tab where you can highlight, copy and paste the information about your site into an email and send it to support at maxfoundry.com.

Also you can activate the Media Library Folders Reset plugin and select the Display Attachment Data option. Copy this page into an email and send it to the same address and mention ‘Added files are not shown after upload’ in the subject line of both mails.

From looking at the list of media files and their URLs, that are not any in the uploads folder. This means that their location is missing from the database table to tracks of where the files are located. You should try uploading the files again, perhaps to a different folder.

So I think I found the problem, but it’s going to be very tedious to sort out. I did find some URLs in the uploads folder in the list I sent you, but it looks like the wrong folder ID is set in the database. I’m not sure how that happened, but the only way I can figure out how to fix it is to go through and manually fix them. I’ve already reset the database and tried to have it rescan again, but the error remains.
