    Hello @hesadanza ,

Thank you for using Direct Stripe.

From your Stripe Dashboard at Radar -> Rules, make sure you have the rule “Block if
    ZIP code verification fails” enabled.

You can test a failure turning test mode on and using card number 4000000000000036 ( https://stripe.com/docs/testing ).

    Kind regards,

    Thanks for your reply.

Will enabling that rule in Radar add the zip code field automatically to the checkout form? Or is there another way to enable the zip code field without Radar. I noticed that Radar will cost me more per transaction. Other plugins have allowed me to enable the zip code field without enabling Radar.

I tried enabling that rule, but it did not add a zip code field to the form. How do I force the zip code field/validation in the form?

    Thanks.

    Hello @hesadanza ,

I’m afraid that’s not an option of Direct Stripe. I focus near future development to switch from Stripe checkout v1 to Stripe Payment Intents (that will be ready for 3d secure v2 validation to comply with European law in september and allow a more flexible modal form), that means I can’t guarantee I will add this option soon.

    Kind regards,

    Hello again @hesadanza ,

I decided to do a 2.1.16 release before switching to Payments Intents API, I’m not sure exactly when though.
It will add the option for ZIP validation on the client side to .org version.
In the meantime you can download a version of Direct Stripe that has ZIP validation enabled at https://github.com/New0/direct-stripe/tree/feature/124

    Hi @nahuelmahe,

Thank you so much! I think that will provide better fraud protection for a lot of folks.

I think I may wait for the new release on .org, so I can just update the plugin in WP.

    Thanks again!
