Add WordPress Blog to existing site

  • I have a site called https://www.RetireWithCarla.com, it has been up and running for a couple of years. There are 4 more /pages.

    I would like to create a page https://www.RetireWithCarla.com/blog

    I went into Fantastico via my cpanel and rec’d this message
    “The installation can not be completed:

    – No valid directory name provided.

    Click on the browser’s Back button to fix reported errors.”

    I have looked thru the forum and could not find a similar thread

    any assistance would be greatly appreciated

  • Since you have Cpanel, doing a manual install is pretty easy…and is better than the auto-install anyway. For step-by-step directions, see the following video and just install in a subdirectory like I show in the video.
