Add Widget to Sidebar2 always force to Sidebar1

  • I know there is a similar topic in the forum, but my background is different, si I post it again here.

    My problem is when i change my theme from 2 colomn to 3 colomn, I can’t add a widget for sidebar2. Everytime I add widget to sidebar2, it always force to added at sidebar1. I’ve tried changing themes, disable all plugins and widget, but the problem still occures. Also, drag-drop features is can’t do anymore. In the other hand, I haven’t hack the wordpress php files.

    Now, I temporary set my widget manually at database table. But It’s so complicated. Can anyone help me on this ?

    I have the same problem, each time, I try to add a widget on sidebar2, it goes on sidebar1.

    I have created my theme with a software “artisteer”. I think it’s due to the theme.

    Please tell me if you find a solution.

    Had the same problem. Clearing the browser cache fixed it for me.

    Same problem here, but I solved it. Select sidebar 2, then show. Then save. That’s the missing ingredient. Then, you’ll be able to add to sidebar 2.
