Add Watermark as expiration mode ?

    Hello,

    I already love your plugin but would it be possible to apply a watermark at expiration time ?

    custome watermark text could be “Expired” across a post for instance.

    I realize positioning could be important especially on mobile small screen.

    Would be soooo good to have.

    Sorry, what kind of watermark are you looking for? In the backend or in the frontend?

    In the frontend so visitor cannot miss that the post is expired.

    Well that’s what I am using now and that already very good especially when combined with the category change once expired.

    What I was looking for, in addition, is to add a specific text watermark like “Expired” for instance in diagonal across the post once expired.
    A bit like what you can see on draft page or document.

    This is just an evolution suggestion. As I mentioned already, your plugin is doing the job and I love it !

    Sorry, can you elaborate more, please? Do you want “Expired” added automatically in the title? Or in the post content? Or do you want them as a status of posts?

    Hello,

    could be not doable using HTML to add a watermark to a page or a post as it is like putting an image showing the expiration text on top of a post or as part of the background…

    You can find an example using a Word doc here.

    Ah I see. Thanks, that’s clear things up. We dont have it at the moment, but I’ve added it as a feature request in our GitHub repository: https://github.com/publishpress/PublishPress-Future/discussions/435

    You can upvote that idea, since most voted idea will most likely coming to the plugin.
