Add video field?

    If you only need the link, you can use website type or a textbox and then use the filter I provide ‘bxcft_show_field_value’ to show a youtube or vimeo player if you need.

    I need an actual video uploaded to the site. Each user gets to upload one video and I need the video thumbnail returned along with the other info when doing a search with the BP Profile Search plugin. The plugin author said “BP Profile Search uses the standard Members Directory page to display its search results. So what you need is a way to add the video thumbnail to the standard Members Directory page, then BP Profile Search will automatically use it.” So that’s what I am trying to find a way to do. Right now I am using rtMedia for the videos, but I am not tied to that.

    Is there a way to include an uploaded video (mp4 etc)

    Sorry, I’ve not created a field for videos, so for now, it is not possible with my plugin. Maybe in the future, I don’t know.
