Add Users to my website with localhost

What do you mean by ‘add users to my website with a localhost link’. Do you mean that you want to add additional users to your WP site that is installed on your local computer?

yes I want to add my team members as admin users to my WP site that is installed on my local computer. We would like to work on the site together. Is there any way to do this?

Hi @baderronja,

You can add them as WordPress users, but actually getting them onto your site (as it’s localhost) is much more difficult.

It’s really not something that I could explain in forum replies for you. There are a large number of security considerations – namely you’d be opening up parts of your PC to the wider internet. Then, if you don’t have a static IP provided by your ISP you’d need DDNS.

Unless you are confident with server management, port forwarding, and the relevant web security protocols – I would strongly recommend uploading your localhost install to a web hosting provider who will handle all that stuff for you. You will find it a lot easier!
