    Hello
    i want to add tracking code to footer section instead of header .Please help

  • Hi @ankur89,

    It is best to keep the Analytics in the Header. Google requires the Analytics tracking code to be in the <head> tag if you want to use it to authenticate Google Webmaster Tools (for SEO and site analysis, etc.).

    If you add your Analytics tracking code to your footer and run a lot of other JavaScripts or other syntax/codes on your site, chances are high that Analytics won’t accurately track your traffic data. More on why it is best to keep it in the Header is found here. and here.
