Add to Wishlist Function on Mobile

    Hello, is it possible to have a different function for the add to wishlist? On my computer, the black bar that shows the item is being added, is a bit annoying, but it (and the view wishlist link) works. On mobile, the link to View Wishlist does not work so the customer has to wait for the notification to finish loading.

    Is there a way to remove the black notification bar, and just have it say it has been added to the wish list?

    I didn’t understand it correctly, i’m sorry. Can you explain again?

    – What do you mean when you said “On mobile, the link to View Wishlist does not work” ?
    – And if I remove the black notification bar, where would I show any kind of text?

    When you add something to the wish list, a notification comes across the screen in black box. It contains a link to View Wishlist, and displays a progress bar. It takes too long to go away, but second … this link does not work on my phone. When I tap it, nothing happens, and I am stuck waiting for the black box to disappear.

    I see.
    I’m going to check it. What’s your phone? And what theme are you using?

    Anyway, you can close the black box clicking on the X icon or dragging it with your finger too.

    I thought I replied to this, but can’t find it. My phone is Samsung. Android. Theme is 2014.

    I cannot close the black box on my mobile phone, unless I manage to either turn my phone sideways (and therefore make the x bigger), or I am able to somehow zoom in. Also, I am unable to drag it off my screen on my mobile phone for the same reason.

    Is there a way to have it function like the add to cart button, except it would say “added to wishlist” / “view wishlist” ..? So – no black box or progress bar?

    I would love to start using this plugin, but this issue is stopping me from doing that.

    Hello @debigregan,

    We have updated the plugin to version 1.1.1.
    We created some new options:

    • Enable notifications on desktop
    • Enable notifications on mobile
    • Show wish list link on notification after adding a product to wish list
    • Show an Ok button on notification

    Can you please check if these options fulfill your needs?
