Add to map button not working

    The map is displaying correctly but I am trying to add a couple of new markers on this map but the blue add to map button isn’t doing anything when I click it. I have tried creating a new map and it doesn’t work on that either and I have deactivated and reactivated the plugin but that hasn’t made any difference.

    Hi,

    Here’s a few things to check:

    1. Are there any errors in the browser’s JavaScript console (F12 for most browsers)?

    2. It may be there’s a theme/plugin conflict. You can check by using the steps for “Map doesn’t display” here:

    3. Try using Mapbox, in case there’s a problem with the Nominatim geocoding service. Mapbox will also make the maps look better.

    Hi,

    I just thought of something: did you notice the ‘search’ box next to the ‘add to map’ button? You need to first enter an address or place name into that box, and *then* click the ‘add to map’ button, or press enter, to add that location.
