    Hello,

I have read all the others topic about this problem (because I could see that I am not the only one) but no one has had the same problem. I changed my web to https and I have seen the change of this plugin (colours…) in my phone for example, but the add to home screen buttom isn′t working.

I′ll appreciate a lot your support.

    Thanks in advance,

    Julen from Zuekin

  • Hello @zuekinjf,

Good day and thanks for tying our plugin.

Upon my test I noticed that you have uploaded a wrong image size for Application Icon and Splash screen via our settings page (ie; your current image for both are of size 120*85px).

Our plugin require 192×192 px size (PNG) size for Application Icon and 512*512 px size (PNG) for Splash screen icon.

Please update it accordingly and let me know. So that I can check more into it.

    Thanks

    Hello Jose,

    Thanks for your advice.

I have updated it and I have tried to enter in my web from diferent devices but the “ad to home screen” pop-up isn′t appearing.
    Could you help me again?

    Thank for your support.

    Hello @zuekinjf,

I checked your website on two of my devices and noticed that Add to Home screen prompt works perfectly. Here’s the video for your reference.

    1) Can you please let me know whether you have installed the PWA earlier for the same website on your device? If yes, please uninstall and clear the cache. You can easily check this by tapping the browser menu (the three dots at the right corner of your Chrome Browser), if its added earlier you can see “Open ZuEkin JF” there, otherwise it will be “Add to HomeScreen“.

    2) Can you please let me know whether you have cleared the browsing data on browser?
Here’s the steps to clear the browsing data by tapping the browser menu on Google Chrome for Android > Settings > Privacy > Clear browsing data > Select Advanced tab > from that select options like Browsing history, Cookies and site data, Cached images and files, Site settings and tap Clear Data.

    3) Can you check any other PWA website’s (you can check our website superpwa.com) and let me know whether the Add to Home screen prompt occurs or not on your browser? If not, its because of the low memory storage limit on your device for the browser. Free up some space and clear the cache to test it again.

Looking forward to hear your thoughts.

    Hi again @zuekinjf,

Have you got time to check that?

    Looking forward.

Closing this thread due to lack of activity and PWA works perfectly as mentioned here.

    Hello again,
I still use your very good plugin. Thanks for having done it.

But there is really a issue.

I have checked your superpwa.com page through my samsung mobile phone.
And your page shows exactly the same issue as mine. There is no popup “add to home screen” on samsung browser. The only small difference is the following: Below on my page I notice some flashing white squares. And on your page I do not see anything.

The samsung browser installed on samsung phones is probably one of the most used by ordinary people. All these users never can install the PWA.
