    Hi Jose,
I would put up the plugin tomorow. Just saw the mail notification.
You can have a look at it then.

    Hi Jose,

I have installed Super PWA plugin on my website i.e. https://bestpsychiatristsaharanpur.in. And the problem is that I am not getting Add to Homescreen popup on all the mobile devices (Eg- Samsung Galaxy Note 8 and others). Could you please have a look at it now?

    Thanks

    Hi @fauxboard10

Good day to you. Looks like the images which you uploaded for the Application Icon and Splash Screen Icon is only of size 52*52 px.

But for SuperPWA to work, it should be 192*192px and 512*512px in PNG format for Application Icon and Splash Screen respectively.

Hope you will fix it accordingly and let me know.

This worked and displayed the “Add to home screen” button.

One problem though, if a user closes the pop-up… it doesn’t appear again even if the user closes the tab and revisits the website.
As a solution, We have built a “download app” button which we would like to link to “Add to Home Screen” function.

If the user wants, he can download any time.
    Can you help?

That’s the expected behaviour of PWA at this time. We’re working on an Addon to control the Add to Homescreen prompt, most probably it will be released within a couple of releases.

Could you please share the expected timeline for these releases?

Also, how can we define multiple offline pages for the PWA? Each page is loading in approx 3secs which is counter-intuitive to the whole app appeal.

Is there a setting that I am using wrong or something that I can setup so that it behaves like an application(preloaded content on each page, that gets updated in the background). I am not using any Cache plugin currently.

    Thanks @josevarghese
You are being a great help, into making our website truely international quality.

I’m not able to share any ETA for the same, as we need to make the plugin compatible with OneSignal for the MU websites upon the coming version and also the release of AMP addon is planned for the next release.

Caching of pages Addon is already within our roadmap, and will be rolled out mostly after the release of Add to Homescreen addon.
