hello, I have seen that when I click on the “add to google calendar” button(image). It leads to a google page giving error 404(image).

looking at the link generated by the plugins, it is this:
    https://www.google.com/calendar/event?action=TEMPLATE&text=.....

Shouldn’t this be the code? (testing manually works fine for me):
    https://calendar.google.com/calendar/render?action=TEMPLATE&text=.....

links obtained from your website as an example: event

Add to google calendar button link: add to google calendar
Add to google calendar button link fix: add to google calendar

    sorry for my bad English

  • Add to google calendar button link: add to google calendar
Add to google calendar button link fix: add to google calendar

Both links work fine for me.

    Hope this helps.

@chalger Hello. Both work if you have the Google session open. if not, it gives you the 404 error.
That is, not all users will be with the Google session open. in this case they have to give the option to log in to add the calendar. but that does not happen. the correction I wrote forces you to login to add the calendar.

Good point, but you forgot to mention it in your first post ??

However when I use the 2nd link in incognito mode I’m forced to log-in (great!) but after logging-in I’m getting “400 bad request” error. I think you need to add information about logging in requirement to the email, because knowing MEC support it won’t be changed/fixed in foreseeable future.

@chalger Yes, I totally forgot to comment on that, between the translator and at the time I wrote, I apologize for that.
In incognito mode the same thing happened to me and in many browsers. I do not know if it will also be in the region, in my country (Argentina). but modifying a line in the plugin code shouldn’t be much.

@webnus Thank you very much, I am liking it more and more, if you add and improve more options, I will surely buy the plugins.
