Add to Cart URL Cart is empty

    Hello,

    I am new to woo commerce it’s been an uphill battle with this plugin. Main problem i have right now is a url to add an item to the cart and redirect the user to the cart.

    Example: https://mydomain.com/cart/?add-to-cart=4051

    It takes about 20 seconds or so then it says Your cart is currently empty.

    I have items i want to add to the front page of the website with a button add to cart with this type of url in the example above. Any ideas?

    Learning WooCommerce can indeed be tricky – there are so many different options!

    You’re using a slightly different notation in the URL, but it worked for me both with and without a forward slash after the cart:
    https://woodev.mystagingwebsite.com/cart?add-to-cart=146763

    Here’s what that looks like on my end:
    Add to cart

    There are a few different things that could be going wrong on your site. Could you please share a copy of your site’s System Status? You can find it via WooCommerce > Status.
    Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”.? Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.

    Hello Hannah,

    Thank you for the reply. I tried your variation of the url and it worked perfectly. I searched the web for hours and could only find the url i was trying as in my 1st post. You truly engineered some happiness here today. Thanks so much!
