I have an issue. Seems after setting up the plugin, the site is certainly faster, but when I click “add to cart” it loads super slow. Any idea?

    Hello @jwestinghouse

Thank you for your inquiry and I am happy to assist you with this.
Woocommerce has the defined constant for some pages define('DONOTCACHEPAGE', true); which prevents the page from being cached.
Also, they are using ajax for the cart so possibly in some cases, depending on the server resources it may slow things down a bit.
    Thanks!

Is there anything I can do about this, or is it just something to deal with?

Also I’m using woo side cart. Do I need to add a caching exception for this somewhere?

    Hello @jwestinghouse

    Thank you for the information.
No, nothing really as some parts of Woocommerce need to be excluded from cache (with the mentioned constant or using ajax) to keep the functionality and avoid any possible;e issues with caching. So instead of excluding those parts from the cache, the Woocommerce is using the mentioned solutions to work with the caching plugins.
As for the woo side cart, it’s also using ajax so there is no need for additional cache exceptions in this case.
    Thanks!
