    Hello,

We are partnering with another company that will now sell our products.
Is it possible to custom the add to cart button for simple products so when people browse our shop page and our products pages, when they click on “add to Cart” instead of adding the product to the cart or sending them to the cart, the button will send them to the website of our partner where they will be able to purchase the products?

Basically, we don’t want people to add people to cart on our website, we want that this action send them to a specific landing page (the same page for all products).

I hope that make sense, if it is possible, I would be happy to know how.

    Thank you,

    Hey there ??

    Thanks for reaching out!

It seems like you’re looking for a way to change the behavior of the “Add to cart” button for simple products, where it redirects to a specific website, correct?

There are 2 ways this can be achieved.

    External/Affiliate Products:

You can change the simple products to “External/Affiliate” products, which will allow you to change to “Add to cart” button behavior to redirect to a specific URL:

You can read more on how to create an external/affiliate product here:

    Using an Extension:

Another option is using an extension. The Add to Cart Redirect extension allows you to maintain the product type (i.e simple, variable) and add a redirect.

Woo.com offers a 30-day refund policy which you can take advantage of, allowing you to test the extension, and make sure that it suits your needs.

Should you have any pre-sales-related questions, kindly contact us directly at Woo.com → My Account → Support. You will need to create an account if you do not have one already.

    Hope this helps!
