Add to cart pixel not firing when item added to cart

I understand that the Add to Cart pixel is not firing on your site after the plugin has been updated, correct?

I am not seeing any bug reports raised on the Github thread about your issue.

I’d like to understand your site properly. Please share with us the necessary information below for us to investigate the issue further:

• System Status Report which you can find via WooCommerce > Status > Get system report > Copy for support.
• Fatal error logs (if any) under WooCommerce > Status > Logs.

Again, when adding a product to cart it should fire or trigger the add to cart action/event which it does not with the updated plugin version. Here is my log:

Based on the system status report, everything seems fine. However, you can improve your website’s performance by boosting the PHP Post Max Size from 128 MB to 2 GB and extending the PHP Time Limit from 30 to 1200; you’ll see a significant improvement.

To further investigate this issue, could you please confirm if you’ve cleared all caches on your site and browser after the plugin update? Sometimes, old cached data can interfere with the new plugin functions.

Also, could you kindly adjust your cache plugin to exclude WooCommerce pages and pixels? I’ve noticed through Meta Pixel Helper that you’ve manually set the pixel without setting any event.

To fix this issue, please remove any manually added pixel code, and go to Marketing > Facebook > Connection tab, and ensure your pixel account is there. If possible, disconnect and reconnect your Facebook account.

Furthermore, it would be helpful if you could check the JavaScript console for any errors when you click the ‘”add to cart” button. You can do this by right-clicking on your webpage, selecting “Inspect”, and then clicking on the “Console” tab. Any errors there could give us a clue about what might be going wrong.

Hello I have done all the following:

1. Reinstalled pixel in facebook for woocommerce.
2. Excluded all woocommerce pages including Landing page, Add to cart page, checkout page, and thank you page.
3. Cleared all cash plugins including minify

Please see photo below everything is being tracked correctly except the checkout page is not properly loading add to cart events.

I went ahead with visiting the Checkout page of the site at https://www.stylishpassports.com/, and it appears the issue remains.

Pixel Helper found your Meta Pixel, but the pixel has not been activated for this event and no information has been sent to Meta. This may be due to an error in the code or if the pixel fires on a dynamic event, such as a button click. Follow the steps below to troubleshoot this issue:

1. Temporarily switch your theme to Storefront
2. Disable all server-side, and browser, caching, and plugins except for WooCommerce, and Facebook for WooCommerce
3. Repeat the action that is causing the problem
4. Try sending the desired event using the test events tool.
5. If the test events tool does not detect the event, there may be an issue with the Pixel Helper implementation. Please review Meta Pixel implementation with your developer. Learn more

I am curious as to why pixel helper is showing events firing and for other events, but on your guys end it is showing as not. Is there a way to connect with a live representative to verify a solution?

I have found the issue. Can you guys please check if my pixel events are triggering and sending data to facebook on my website now https://www.stylishpassports.com/? It seems that there is an issue with facebook for woo plugin I reverted back to version 3.0.33 and now my add to cart event is triggering. Your update versions from here are coded without the add to cart script to trigger on the add to cart page that needs to be fixed for all versions within this plugin.

As with my colleague’s experience, I am also not able to see add-to-cart events on my end.

I did come across some persistent caching, though. It meant I had to hard refresh each individual page I visited, indeed.

Nevertheless, you are reporting that the issue is no more, after downgrading to version 3.0.33, so that’s excellent news.

Just to confirm, you are seeing add-to-cart events being registered, from your end. Correct?
