    Hello,

Is there a way to change where the “Add to cart” button brings? Right now when someone clicks it, the login modal pops up with the message “Welcome back” but it’s not relevant for a new user/student. If we can’t change the link to bring to the student subscription page, can the login modal be edited?

Another issue is that after a student registers, tehy are brought to the view of the course and they have to Add the course to cart again. Not the best user experience to have them do it again.

Thank you very much for youe help!

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi @aubemktg,

To address the “Welcome back” message that appears in the login modal, you can use the Loco Translate plugin to customize the text. Just follow these steps:

    1. Install and activate the Loco Translate plugin.
    2. Go to Loco Translate > Plugins and select Tutor LMS.
    3. Search for the “Welcome back” string and replace it with a more relevant message for new users.

Regarding the second issue, the “Add to Cart” requirement can indeed create a repetitive experience. To streamline this, you can enable the allow users to log in during checkout. This should reduce the need for them to add the course to the cart again.

Let me know if any further adjustments are needed!

Thank you for your prompt response. I have installed Loco Translate and made the edit but it does’t show on the website. It still shows “Welcome back”

I was able to update the Welcome message by going to the Plugin File Editor, and edited the message in the login.php file (views > modal > login.php), see below. Do you think it’s okay ? It won’t create more problems? Haha

    <div class=”tutor-fs-4 tutor-fw-medium tutor-color-black tutor-mb-32″><?php esc_html_e( ‘Hello! Please log in or register.’, ‘tutor’ ); ?></div>

And I already had the “login during checkout” enabled. What else can I try?

Thanks very much for your help
