So the actual issue is that if you go to my shop and you click buy now (which is the add to cart button) you will be redirected to checkout normally…but if you decide to go back to the shop…the add to cart button that you previously clicked is now stuck on loading with a loading spinner.

If you click other add to carts and you click back again then all the add to carts that you have clicked on are on loading…

Please test it your self on my website. I don’t understand why this happens…i am using wp-rocket caching for 1 year but this was not happening until yesterday.

    Hi @theotheo,

It sounds like something recently changed – did you update any of your plugins or your theme a short while ago? I’ve visited your site and tested it for a bit but didn’t get that loading spinner. You could try with another browser or incognito mode and see if it still appears.

However, all of this could be traced back to a conflict and you could do a conflict test following our guide here:

    https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/how-to-test-for-conflicts/.

It also would be a good idea setting up a staging site where you can try to debug the issue. If your host doesn’t offer that option, we recommend WP Staging for quickly spinning up a new test site.

Let us know how it goes.

I tested it out and it only happens on chrome in both mobile and desktop.

What happens is that when i click back the browser just serves a cached version of the page. I checked network on inspect and it only had 1 request so apparently that’s why the add to cart button is stuck in the loading phase.

Is there any way i can stop woocommerce add to cart from being cached or a javascript file (i suppose the one use for the woocommerce ajax button) that i can exclude from my caching plugins?

So i disabled all plugins and just left woocommerce and the issue just stayed around.

I also tested from different countries and browsers and the issue didn’t occur. I guess there is something related to my browser.

    Hi @theotheo,

Thanks for your reply, good to hear it’s working well on different browsers. Perhaps you could also clear the cache memory on your browser for now.

Should the issue come back, be sure to check with the plugin authors of the caching plugin that you’re using. If you do not have any caching plugins, you’ll want to check with your host on whether they have server-side caching.

    Thanks.
