    Same. If I have “add to cart events” check marked then “send_page_view” is set to false and page views are not sent to GA4.

    It is throwing warnings in all of the debugging tools. Tested on clean up-to-date install.

    There are no errors in the WP/WC logs, nor in the browser console.

    I meant that Google’s debugging tools are showing warnings:

    • “Multiple installations of Global site tag (gtag.js) detected”
    • “Duplicate container installation abandoned: G-PBCDPC2R7J”
    • “Add Google Analytics”
    • “Invalid or missing account ID”
    • “Non-standard implementation”

    Is it your plugin that is inserting both the <script id=’google-tag-manager-js-after’> tag and the script wrapped in <!– WooCommerce Google Analytics Integration –> tag (as shown in my previous screenshot)?

    I deactivated browser extensions, and tried two different browsers, same result.

    Is it your plugin that is inserting both the <script id=’google-tag-manager-js-after’> tag and the script wrapped in <!– WooCommerce Google Analytics Integration –> tag (as shown in my previous screenshot)?

    While I am able to clearly see this on your site, I was unable to reproduce on a test installation of mine.

    While investigating this further, I came across an issue report on GitHub; which is not the same, though.

    The only other plugin on your test site, related with Google analytics, is:
    Site Kit by Google: by Google – 1.85.0

    Could you please create another one, fresh, WordPress installation, with only WooCommerce and WooCommerce Google Analytics Integration the active plugins, and check if you are able to replicate the issue?

    Hi.

    From looking at your screenshots I see the that your test installation is inserting the snippet with ID “google-tag-manager-js-after”.

    The other snipped is marked with “WooCommerce Google Analytics Integration”, meaning they both originate from your plugin.

    You need to be logged for the 2nd tag to fire. It also might take a few seconds to appear.

    In regards to your reply:

    Site Kit plugin is inactive, but just to turn every stone, I just set up a new install without ever installing it. Same issue. Also, this one was set up using an online sandboxing tool to rule out any local/server caused issues (different PHP version, MU-plugins etc.).

    To reproduce:
    1) Create sandbox site on tastewp.com
    2) Install WooCommerce and this plugin
    3) Add tracking code, and enable Standard Tracking (not sure if this is needed)
    4) Open site in Incognito window (2nd tag is only inserted for tracked/logged-out users)
    5) You might need to wait 5 seconds for the tag to appear

    Below is the status report from the sandbox site. Please note this site is only available for 48 hours.

    Thanks for reaching back about this! After some testing on my own, it seems like a possible bug in “WooCommerce Google Analytics Integration” which is resulting in adding the analytics tag twice.

    I have opened an issue on the WooCommerce Google Analytics Integration GitHub developer board which you can follow the progress of below, and reply to if necessary, as anyone can contribute to the plugin, with it being open-source software.
