Add to cart button on product page keeps adding restricted quantity to cart

    Hi I have set min 1 and max qty 2 for a product but if change the qty to maximum allowed and you add it to cart and hit the add to cart button again it keeps adding more products ignoring the rule max qty for this order.

    Shouldn’t after pressing the add to cart button to display a message saying something like that:

    “We are sorry you are unable to add more of this product to your cart, you’ve hit the maximum qty which is XX for your order.” ?

    Hello Telakos,

    Thanks for reaching out to us.

    If you are using the store theme with ajax add to cart on your shop page then it might do not showcase the error message on that.

    Once you go to the product detail page or cart page then you are able to see that message.

    Can you please check the product page by adding more than 2 products and you are able to see an error message on the header area?
