its been a while, like, for a few months
visitors browsing the page and pressed add to cart and it adds to cart even when they are just dragging @@

    I ve done the followings:
    deactivated plugins on by one
    updated everything
    posted on woocommerce and elementor
    and the followings:

Make sure you are using the most updated versions of Elementor,
WordPress & your theme. Sometimes it isn't apparent that there is an update available. Go to Dashboard > Updates and click the Check Again button to be sure. (Make sure to back up your site).

Regenerate the CSS via Elementor > Tools > Regenerate CSS on your WordPress Dashboard. (Make sure to back up your site).
Go to Elementor > Settings on your WordPress dashboard. Click the Advanced tab and then switch the CSS print method to Internal embedding.
Clear all cache: your browser's cache, other plugins' cache, server cache (if possible).

If it didn't help, switch your theme (temporarily) to a default WordPress theme such as Twenty Sixteen and see if it makes any difference.

From your WordPress dashboard, navigate to Elementor > Settings > Experiments. Change all of the experiments to Inactive. Click Save Changes.

Check the issue from a different browser or incognito mode to rule out the possibility of browser addon conflict.

then when I switched to the default theme the problem is gone, please help, what should I do? Thank you!

  • Hello @jptailfashion,

Thanks for sharing the video, definitely explains a lot.

With all due respect, nothing is broken here. The cart is not activated by simply scrolling the page but when pressing and holding the Add to Cart button to scroll, which is clearly displayed on the video. Whether or not your intention was to hold the button while you scroll – it’s still pressed.

Now, unlike the themes you tested, OceanWP has the single product Ajax Add to Cart feature and it’s active on your website, which your video also confirms.

You can try and deactivate this feature via Customize > WooCommerce and see if that will change anything. However, a button is a button and its purpose is to trigger an event on press

Marko S , all due respect ,too ,
if everything pressable activates when it’s touched no matter what on a portable device , imagine when the shop page is scrolled ??
Would it be designed to activate every single product when ppl scroll it? It’s still pressed.

Other buttons doesn’t react except this add to cart button

The add to cart button in Woocommerce default themes doesnt react to scrolls neither
